Financial Aid Options

Lincoln Tech provides a variety of federal student aid, scholarships, and financing options to help students fund their education. Below is an overview of available financial aid programs.

Federal Student Aid (FAFSA – Title IV Funding)

  • Financial aid is available through federal programs for eligible students.
  • Eligibility: Based on financial need; students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • Application Process: Apply at studentaid.gov. Use Lincoln Tech’s school code when submitting your application.

Federal Aid Programs

  • Federal Pell Grant – Need-based grant for undergraduate students; does not require repayment.
  • Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) – Additional grant for students with exceptional financial need. Limited funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Direct Subsidized Loan – Need-based loan; interest is covered by the government while in school.
  • Direct Unsubsidized Loan – Interest accrues from disbursement; repayment begins 6 months after graduation or withdrawal.
  • Parent PLUS Loan – Available for parents of dependent students to cover remaining tuition costs. A credit check is required.

FAFSA must be completed annually to maintain eligibility.
